Phenom combines bits of American flair with an Asian-themed wall quilt and a floor-sized statue of an elephant along with other Far Eastern accoutrements to create a rather funky down-home decor that's immediately comfortable with a sense that anything goes. Their sign promises exotic Thai vegetarian cuisine and while the menu lists a few readily recognizable dishes such as fried calamari and beef satay with peanut sauce other items definitely deliver: papaya salad duck salad and frog legs basil. Don't want to drive? For a fee Phenom will send its limo to pick you up and shuttle you back at the end of the evening.
