Owner Mike Galio describes the Shack in downtown Slatington as "a friendly bar that thinks it's a restaurant." Maybe that's because this unpretentious place boasts a six-page menu where a family of four can eat for less than $30. They get everyone from "grandmothers to grandkids" Galio says. Take your pick of booths tables or a place at the huge bar that seats 24 and watch a little TV a big TV or all 10 of them.
