A former train station built in 1874 The Restaurant at the Station allows patrons to dine in what was formerly the "men's waiting room" of the 19th century brownstone building. Once a major commuter destination-more than 40 trains stopped there daily-this place is still bustling with people. The restaurant makes mostly American cuisine offering steak and seafood but it also has a few Cajun and Italian inspired entrees. Wait staff dressed in period clothing can serve you some of this eatery's more unique dishes which include the Cajun gator and blueberry chicken but the cinnamon raisin bread pudding with spiced rum sauce is the restaurant's specialty. All of the desserts are homemade and the wine list is comprised strictly of Pennsylvanian wines.
